Signinum has started a rehabilitation project on the Lada Ateliers building, a privileged space for artistic practice located next to the Ribeira tunnel in Porto.  

The work includes refurbishing the pure zinc roofs, making new false ceilings, repairing the interior plasterwork and painting the interior false ceilings. Outside, the teams are going ahead with rehabilitating the exterior metalwork and painting it, including the window frames. 

Designed by architect Virgínio Moutinho, the Lada Ateliers building was built on the occasion of Porto Capital of Culture 2001. It was originally designed to house artists in residence, but for several years it was home to the National Association of Football Coaches. 

In 2020, the infrastructure regained its original mission and was once again dedicated to artistic practice.
