REHABILITATING HERITAGE WITH SUSTAINABILITY
As a result of Signinum's participation since 2006 in research projects at the European level in conservation and restoration, we have made a 2012 wish come true: to transform our conservation and restoration workshop of movable pieces into a conservation and restoration laboratory. For this purpose, we acquired a pavilion, equipped with a temperature and humidity control system, air extraction, and quality control systems, and equipped the space with security and access control conditions. We equipped the laboratory with the necessary equipment to perform the identification, characterization and study of the materials that make up the pieces we receive from our customers, thus ensuring greater accuracy and scientific knowledge in our work. Today, we are proud to say that we have the best private Laboratory of Conservation and Restoration in Portugal!
