Signinum returned the side altars and paintings on wood to the Parish of Santa Valha, in Valpaços. The assembly of the altarpieces of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of the Rosary was completed just in time for the community to celebrate Christmas, after a demanding conservation and restoration work.

To achieve this result, it was necessary to:

• Pre-fixing of cladding
• Disinfestation
• Structural review
• Cleaning
• Filling of support and surface gaps
• Colour integration
• Protection

The church stands in the centre of the village and was founded in 1657 by Abbot Nuno Álvares, parish priest of Santa Valha at the time, according to information shared by Município de Valpaços. It has been classified as a Property of Public Interest since 30th of November 1993.
