The Marquês do Pombal Palace, located in Oeiras, is one of the most valuable examples of 18th-century heritage. Designated a national monument, this project, designed by Carlos Mardel during the Pombaline reconstruction following the 1755 earthquake, underwent extensive restoration by Signinum, specifically involving the restoration of facades, stonework, and ornamentation.
The restoration of the façades, which had become severely dilapidated over time, and of the damaged stone, metal and tile elements has completely revitalised the building’s exterior appearance, giving it greater vibrancy and durability for the future.
